You will unlock the Reforging Bench after completing Treasures of Utzaal in The Drowned City during Act 3. Once there, search the area to find The Molten Vault. Your objective is to kill Mektul, the Forgemaster. We recommend capped Fire Resistance, around 1,500 HP, and other defensive layers, like Evasion — especially in Hardcore.
It is a fairly straightforward encounter. However, do note that it is on a four-minute timer. This is why it is crucial to have enough DPS to burst him down. Remember not to chase him into the lava since it will most likely one-shot you. Continue to dodge the poe 2 currency for sale until he jumps out before dealing damage. Crowd control, such as Freeze, Shock, etc. is excellent against him. If you are struggling as a melee character, make sure to add some CC to your build.
After being killed, he will drop The Hammer of Kamasa . You need to bring it to Oswald in The Ziggurat Encampment to get the Reforging Bench, a bit of Gold, and an Uncut Skill Gem. Once unlocked, you will have access to it in every town as well as your hideout.
How To Use The Reforging Bench
An overview of the Reforging Bench in Path of Exile 2 that lets you three-to-one different items in Path of Exile 2.
There is no longer a three-to-one vendor recipe in Path of Exile 2. This feature has been replaced by the Reforging Bench. It basically lets you combine three items to create a new one with random stats. There are, however, some limitations that you need to keep in mind:
The items must have the same rarity.
The items must be of the same type. For instance, you cannot reforge two Bombard Crossbows with an Advanced Bombard Crossbow.
The items must be Uncorrupted.
Because there are no Orbs of Alterations in the Early Access, rolling Flasks can be a bit challenging. This is where the Reforging Bench comes in. You can always save your poorly rolled Flasks, gear, etc. in a separate tab, and reforge them once you have three of the same item type.
Keep an eye on resources, experiment with different reforge options, and remember to check out U4GM for up-to-date crafting tips and market trends to make the most of your new crafting tool.
